Official information on fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, power consumption and electric range were determined using the prescribed measurement procedure and correspond to Regulation (EU) 715/2007 in the currently applicable version. Information in the NEDC takes into account differences in the selected wheel and tire size and in the WLTP any special equipment. WLTP values are used to calculate taxes and other vehicle-related charges that are (also) based on CO2 emissions, as well as, if necessary, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies. The NEDC values listed were, where applicable, determined on the basis of the new WLTP measurement method and calculated back to the NEDC measurement method for comparability. For vehicles newly type-tested since January 1, 2021, the official information only exists according to WLTP. In addition, according to EU Regulation 2022/195, the NEDC values will no longer be included in the EC certificates of conformity from January 1, 2023. Further information on the NEDC and WLTP measurement methods can be found at www.bmw.de/wltp as well as a comparison table for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, power consumption and electric range of all current BMW models at www.bmw.de/nefz-wltp-vergleich.

Further information on the official fuel consumption and the official specific CO2 emissions of new passenger cars can be found in the 'Guide to the fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and electricity consumption of new passenger cars', which is available at all sales points, at Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH (DAT), Hellmuth-Hirth-Str. 1, 73760 Ostfildern-Scharnhausen, and is available free of charge at https://www.dat.de/co2/.
